Drops of rain,
I am dying in pain.
The moon releases it's might
in an amazing light.
You shattered my dreams,
or so it seems.
Like a serpent you bind my heart,
gain control of my mind.
You are the poison in my blood,
running like a flood.
Raindrops shatter my world,
there was no world meant for me,
so I'll just let it be.
Thunder strucks the ground
unleasing a heartbreaking sound.
Tears can't whisper on your ears,
can't tell you how my heart feels,
trapped in chains
that won't release my vaines,
so the suffering goes on
but the fire still burns on
because the battle
must go forward on.
